Crafting Heritage: End-of-Project Film
We’re pleased to share a film from Cartwheel Arts’ Crafting Heritage programme, a powerful, two-year journey exploring traditional crafts across Rochdale’s diverse communities.
This short film follows five Crafting Heritage trainees as they explore and share the cultural traditions that shape their identities and communities. Through creativity, storytelling and connection, this project celebrates heritage as something living, evolving and deeply personal.
Killian from Our Future was proud to attend the exhibition at Rochdale Town Hall, where the Crafting Heritage trainees’ work was displayed alongside beautiful pieces created by local schoolchildren. It was a vibrant, moving celebration of culture, community, and collaboration.
