Moved away from Rochdale? Home Wins is the place to stay connected

We’re launching Home Wins, a new network for people who have a connection to the borough of Rochdale and now live elsewhere.

It’s a chance to find out what’s happening, discover opportunities to stay connected, get involved, or meet others, in whatever way works for you.

Why Home Wins, and why now?

There’s a lot happening across the borough right now.

After a brilliant year as Greater Manchester Town of Culture, Rochdale AFC’s promotion, new investment and, of course, the launch of Round Here, there’s a real sense of momentum.

Cameron Ogden, Founder of For Generations To Come and Co-chairman of Rochdale AFC, said:

“There are people all over the country and further afield who have a connection to Rochdale but no longer live here. Home Wins is about bringing those people together, keeping them connected to what’s happening on the ground and seeing what we can do together.”

What does being part of Home Wins mean?

Home Wins is an active network that makes it easier to stay connected to Rochdale, wherever you are now.

Some people might want to share their skills or experience. Others might make introductions, support something happening locally or help spread good news about the borough. You might simply want to keep in touch, meet people and find out more.

There’s no set commitment. You can be involved as much or as little as you want to be.

Join us for the first Home Wins Gathering

We’re bringing the Home Wins network together online for the first time on Wednesday 30 September, co-hosted by Cameron.

It’ll be a chance to:

Meet others who share a connection to the borough.
Discover projects, ideas and opportunities.
Have your say on what Home Wins could become.

You don’t need to come with an idea or a plan. You might have a question, story or opinion to share, or simply want to listen, meet people and find out more.
