On 6th May 2025, more than 200 people gathered at Rochdale Town Hall to celebrate the town’s strengths and start shaping its future.
It was a night of connection, conversation and shared ambition — and the starting point for For Generations To Come.

Over the past year the team have been getting to know people across Rochdale, listening to what matters most and rallying individuals to get involved. The same names kept coming up – not as a formal network or leadership group, but because their communities consistently pointed to them as champions already doing great work across the borough.

The third Let’s Talk about our Kids conversation was held at the Kashmir Youth Project (KYP). It brought together a cross-section of people from the borough, giving a mix of perspectives and ideas on how to support our children and young people.
